Fun Filled Family Day Activities

As a Mom I know how hard it can be to keep our little ones busy this time of year. Family Day approaching means more time to spend with family, but also more time to fill! So, from one Mom to another, here are a few fun filled family activates for you to enjoy this Family Day.

Kindred Parents

Kindred Parents is a play place for kids and caregivers to come together and play, and I think parents all over Northumberland jumped for joy a few weeks ago when it opened its doors.

Kindred Parents will be featuring a screening of 'Finding Dory' on Monday February 20^th at 1:00pm. Check out their Facebook event page for more information on this and many exciting programs.

Downtown Cobourg

For those looking for a little more outdoor fun this family day weekend, head down to downtown Cobourg for their family day celebrations. Featuring ice skating on the outdoor rink with a live DJ, ice carvings, and wagon rides; you can even have a photo opp in an ice frame! The fun kicks off Monday February 20^th at 12:00pm and runs till 4:00pm.

Eagles Tribute – Hotel California

 

For those parents looking for a little fun of their own this family day; you can’t miss the Eagles premier tribute band; Hotel California. Presented by the Cobourg Lions Club and yours truly, you can “Take it Easy” this Saturday night. The show starts at at 9:00pm and proceeds go directly to support the amazing work the Lions Club does in our community. You can have a great time and feel good about giving back!
